At Medglo Clinic, we have a range of medical grade chemical peels that are used to improve overall skin texture tone and clarity. A skin analysis is needed to determine which peel best suits your skin concern. Chemical peels work by gently sloughing off a layer of damaged skin to reveal newer healthier skin. With the help of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients, our chemical peels help stimulate the skins own regeneration process, to produce new collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother, clearer skin and a more youthful appearance.

Chemical peels treat the following skin concerns:

  • Acne prone skin
  • Fine lines and wrinkles – anti-ageing effect
  • Hyperpigmentation/discolouration
  • Acne marks from previous breakouts
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Dull dehydrated skin – stimulates skin renewal
  • Enlarged pores
  • Active acne

The Perfecting Peel – This chemical peel is formulated with 20% Mandelic Acid, 10% Lactic Acid and anti-Oxidants. It is great for all skin types but particularly for those with ageing, discoloured, breakout-prone and sensitive skin. It is an excellent skin brightening option for those with sensitive skin. We can maximise results with our Advanced Treatment Booster which contains 10.5% retinoid, which works to increase exfoliation, and restore the skins barrier.

The Retinol Peel – A high-performance peel that contains 3% Retinol plus Retinol Boosting Complex™. The chemical peel’s superior exfoliation effect results in a dramatic reduction of fines lines and wrinkles, a brighter and clearer complexion and a noticeable reduction in acne for acne sufferers.

Neostrata Prosystem Peel –  This peel system involves the use of glycolic, mandelic and citric acids with different options of strength that will be tailored to your specific skin concerns. Through the exfoliation of the dead skin cell layers on the top layer of your skin and the stimulation of new collagen and elastin production in the deeper layers, the result is a smoother, plumper and brighter complexion.
